AURUS Senat at the China International Import Expo (CIIE-2019) in Shanghai

The 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE-2019) took place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2019. Representatives from more than 155 countries and 26 international organizations took part in the expo. This year Russia was a partner country of the event and the Russian national pavilion with a total area of about 1,500 sq. meters was organized with support from the Russian Export Center. The exhibition featured companies playing a leading role in Russia-China relations. Russia’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexey Gruzdev took part in the plenary meeting and opened the Russian national pavilion in conjunction with the Vice-Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Wang Bingnan, as well as presenting Russian technology to the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. During the exhibition in Shanghai Chinese partners got the chance to see AURUS Senat car as a prototype consisting of two parts: one showing the interior of a ready-to-drive car, the other demonstrating the car at the development stage. The AURUS car presented in the Russian national pavilion prompted considerable interest. «Among other things we were representing our automotive industry, and our AURUS luxury car was met with great interest, not least from the country’s leader. So it is very likely that this is a chance for specific cooperation,» Alexey Gruzdev said to journalists.
