The President of the Russian Federation has launched the serial production of AURUS cars!

The opening ceremony of the AURUS factory took place on May 31, 2021 in Elabuga, Tatarstan. Vladimir Putin noted that the opening is a significant event for the domestic auto industry and the Russian industry as a whole. “I am sure that cars that come off the assembly line will be in demand. This is a decent, high-quality car that meets all world standards."

The Minister of Industry and Trade D. Manturov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan R. Minnikhanov, CEO of the State Corporation "Rostech" S. Chemezov, CEO of AURUS A. Shirinov took part in the launch of serial production.

The AURUS plant's capacities are designed to produce up to 5,000 vehicles per year.
